$20,000 increase in teacher pay across the board
We are 40th in teacher pay across the entire country, and it is only getting worse. Our teachers are being undercut by our current legislature; Teachers are the foundation of our community, and we cannot let them be thrown to the wolves any longer.
Increase minimum wage to $20 an hour
The value of a dollar is not lost on me, I understand the value of the dollar. That's why I'm a firm believer that if you work hard then you deserve to be paid a fair wage for your hard work.
A total increase in education funding
We have counties here in North Carolina that can't even afford to hire bus drivers. This is unacceptable and we cannot let our teachers down like this, but even more importantly we cant let our students down
